As dean of the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering since 2016, Dr. Squires is focused on experiential opportunities, innovation, with a focus on electronics, robotics, cyber, communications. He is a professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering. He obtained his PhD from Stanford University studying turbulence and computational fluid dynamics.

In her role, Jessica Rousset is leading the strategy, collaborations, and operations of the Interplanetary Initiative. Jessica focuses on growing early-stage technology companies, creating innovation engines in large organizations, and bridging academic, government and corporate interests toward the common goal of improving people’s lives. She led a publicly traded drug delivery company and served as the head of innovation at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Jessica holds a Master of Science: Biochemistry and Biotechnology from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA), Lyon, France.

Dr. Yue is a professor of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at CalTech. He focuses on machine learning from theory to application. Currently on a sabbatical at Latitude AI, a well advanced autonomous vehicle venture, Dr. Yue works on behavior modeling and motion planning. He got his PhD from Cornell University.

Dr. Fellous is a professor of cognition and neural systems and director computational and experimental laboratory at the  University of Arizona, Tucson. He focuses on neural bases of human spatial navigation, use of rat behaving preparations, optogenetics to understand neural mechanisms and its applications to robotics. Dr. Fellous graduated from École Centrale de Marseille, holds a MS in AI from Paris VI and a PhD in computer science from University of Southern California.

Robert LiKamWa is an associate professor at Arizona State University in the School of Arts, Media and Engineering (AME) and the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering (ECEE). There, Robert directs Meteor Studio, a research laboratory that explores the research and design of software and hardware for mobile Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality, and visual computing systems. Meteor Studio embeds these technologies into data-driven sensemaking and storytelling, especially for virtual learning environments.

Robert received his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from Rice University. At ASU, he received the National Science Foundation CAREER award and the Google Faculty Research award. He has also received the Top 5% Teaching Award in ASU's Fulton Schools of Engineering. Meteor Studio is funded by grants from the National Science Foundation and the Department of Defense, as well as research projects from corporate sponsors, including Samsung, Komatsu, Verizon, Dreamscape Learn.

Mrs Koerber-Walker has been instrumental in pushing forward public and private investments in health sciences. The number of startups in the Valley has exploded, now counting hundreds a year. She graduated with an MBA from Arizona State University and had a successful career in the electronic industry before taking her current role.

Dr. LaBaer has been in his current role since 2016. Under his leadership, ASU quickly developed a successful Covid diagnostic test, widely used in Arizona. He also guided the CXFEL project, a revolutionary compact X-Ray free electron laser. His personal area of interest is personalized diagnostics, particularly applied to cancer. He was founder and director of Harvard Institute of Proteomics. He got both his MD and PhD from UCSF. He worked and taught in the field of oncology at Dana Farber and Harvard med school.

Dr. Belarbi monitors science and technology in the SouthWest and is a big supporter of health science research in Arizona. He promotes bilateral partnerships between France and the US. Prior to his current position, he was professor at Lille University, France. He graduated from École Doctorale Biologie Santé Lille with a focus on pharmacology.

Dr. Stepanek studies the effect of clinical and operational problems linked to spatial disorientation, for instance for astronauts and fighter jet pilots. His team works closely with NASA and the Air Force. He also focuses on vestibular research: disorientation,  oxygen dépravation, trauma, etc. He is an associate professor of medicine and has received many awards in aerospace medicine. He got his MD from University of Basel and interned at Mayo Clinic.

Mike serves as the CISO for Grand Canyon Education, responsible for leading the security team and formulating the vision and strategy for protecting students, staff and information assets across the enterprise. Previous experiences include serving as a threat prevention engineer for Check Point and working as a consultant and analyst for other organizations.

He is also a co-author/contributor for the joint book project, Understanding New Security Threats published by Routledge in 2019, along with numerous articles. When not working, he spends time playing video games and doing random projects with his kids.

Mike holds a Master of Science (MS) in Information Systems Engineering from Western International University and is a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Before joining Accenture, Tina was responsible for coordinating Cyber Security and Emergency Management Programs for the City of Phoenix, after managing Technology Security & Operations for a division of Freeport-McMoRan and several financial organizations. Tina served also in the USAF and as a Flight Commander in the Air National Guard.

Tina holds a MS in Telecommunications and Information Systems from the Johns Hopkins University – Carey Business School and a BS in Computer Science from U of A.

Before joining Crayon, the US market leader for IT Optimization Services, Aaron was the CEO & Co-Founder of several companies helping business leaders continuously improve their “Security Posture”, cloud adoption or AI to drive positive change in their organization. Previously he worked for the State of Arizona and in the Governor’s Office, in several positions, including State CIO & Deputy Director. Aaron is also a member of the Technical Advisory Board of Grand Canyon University.

Aaron holds a BS in Business Operations of DeVry University. He is also very passionate about video games (Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter).
